IFML has been adopted by OMG in March 2013 and it is currently in Beta version. Finalization is expected by March 2014. You can find further information and links to the official specification at

WebRatio, Fujitsu and Model Driven Solutions have submitted an initial proposal for IFML, which has been registered on the OMG document server as document number: ad/2012-08-06 available internally to OMG at http://www.omg.org/cgi-bin/doc?ad/2012-08-06
