Begin in the Alfresco “Document library → Shared Model Repository”. Find the model you wish to edit from the list. Click on the link for your model to see all of the Alfresco menus and options. Follow the following steps to Edit the model:

1. Under “Document Actions” Select “Edit Offline”. This will download the model and will lock the model from “Edit Offline” by other users>
2. Save the model or open it for editing. Hint - You can look at the browser downloads page to see where the model was downloaded to.
3. Edit the model and make your changes.

Remember, as long as you have the model “edited offline” other users will not be able to edit the model. Upload the model as soon as you are able.
