Meeting Overview

The following summarizes the objectives and agenda for the System Modeling Assessment & Roadmap WG in Orlando, Florida on June 21 and 23, 2016 from 09:00 - 17:30 ET. The meeting summary and other presentations are included in the presentation section below.

At this meeting, the System Modeling Assessment & Roadmap WG was renamed the SysML v2 RFP WG to reflect the decision to proceed with the development of the SysML v2 RFP.

Meeting objectives:

  • Review the System Modeling Environment (SME) Concept Overview, Issues, and Plans
  • Discuss SysML v2 RFP Objectives, Scope, Outline, and Plans

Each Concept Lead had approximately 30 minutes to present any significant updates to their concept, identify open issues, and their plans to address the open issues and items below:

  • Follow-up on actions from the Reston WG meeting (refer to meeting summary on Reston Meeting Wiki)
  • Effectiveness measures and driving requirements
  • Limitations of current SysML
  • Key features and graphic of their concept
  • Service requirements (e.g. functions)
  • Illustration of how their concepts supports the Hybrid SUV scenario
  • Plans for prototypes to demonstrate feasibility
  • Wiki status
