OpenDDS 2.1 released
OCI is happy to announce the release of OpenDDS version 2.1. OpenDDS is an open source C++ implementation of the OMG Data Distribution Service for Real-time Systems (DDS) specification. In addition to C++, OpenDDS supports Java language bindings and includes a JMS provider implementation. The new OpenDDS 2.1 release includes new UDP and multicast transport implementations, including support for reliable multicast. A new instrumentation and monitoring application and library are available to enable run-time monitoring of OpenDDS entities and applications.
Are there Open Source implementation of DDS?
Yes! To date there are two Open Source implementation of DDS, OpenSplice DDS and OpenDDS.
