====== SMSWG Meeting #19 (2017-05-02) ======

Meeting #19 of the [[mbse:smswg|NAFEMS-INCOSE Systems Modeling & Simulation Working Group (SMSWG)]] was held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 11:30-12:30 EDT as an online meeting. Following is a summary of this meeting including links to presentation slides.

**Discussion Panel on OSLC for Systems Modeling and Simulation**

Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC), and related specifications for Linked Data from the World Wide Web Consortium (%%W3C%%), are among the standards being proposed for an interoperable digital thread across Systems Modeling and Simulation tools, processes, and data. The May 2017 meeting of the SMSWG featured a panel-format discussion to give a basic perspective on OSLC and to raise issues and topics raised by its potential application to systems modeling and simulation.
