Agenda

9:05 – 9:15: Introduction 9:15 – 10:30: Integration of systems modeling and domain specific modeling, co-analysis and co-simulation Manas from Intercax will join to discuss Syndeia. Covering the basics of Phoenix Model Center, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, FMI, and JPL’s open source Platform for Model Analysis (PMA, BAE). Discuss how those tools help each of us specifically when it could be useful. Discussion about capabilities needed and if that tool can meet them. 10:30 - 12:00: Methodology (OOSEM, MagicGrid, VnV) Robert will lead discussion of usage of OOSEM. Saulius from NoMagic will join to discuss MagicGrid Brian will lead discussion LSST’s verification methodology 12:00 – 13:00: Lunch 13:00 – 14:00: Modeling Patterns (structure, behavior, operational scenarios) Model construction with patterns based on composite structures, Property Based Requirements, patterns for executable models for budgets and early design verification 14:00 – 15:00: Model Libraries Organizing, building, and curating model libraries. Stereotypes vs. Specialization 15:00 – 16:00: Telescope domain specific modeling problems Gelys will lead the discussion 16:00 – 16:30: MBSE Cookbook with SysML next generation 16:30 – 17:00: Organizational infusion challenges Overview of JPL’s current open source engineering infrastructure and the upcoming major releases
