Some of the issues revolve around the confusion about what exactly is a digital twin and the need for clear ROI. This presentation will highlight work done by The National Digital Manufacturing and Cybersecurity Innovation Institute MxD (Manufacturing Times Digital) to help drive adoption among manufacturers. It will underline projects around leveraging digital twins supported through MxD efforts and demonstrate some of the value created for its members. This presentation will also highlight our recent partnership with the Digital Twin Consortium (DTC) to leverage the framework and tools developed by the DTC to fund use cases in manufacturing that will create the first of many collaborations between the two organizations to accelerate digital twin adoption. |
