The AI PTF roadmap is a collection of ideas for deliverables suggested by participants, as well as a list of organizations we should invite to contribute.

This list has been compiled from the notes of the successive meetings of the AI PTF.

| RFI on what AI standards are needed | The 2019 NIST RFI needs to be redone, due to (a) the evolution of the technology since then, (b) the focus of the NIST RFI was on U.S. competitiveness, which is not consistent with OMG's international mission and membership. |
| AI Terminology | Combine our existing draft terminology, add terms from the IEEE P3123 project, but restrict the scope to what are definitely AI terms, and represent it using a standard such as OMG's Multiple Vocabulary Facility (MVF) so that it complements rather than competes with the IEEE-SA effort. It could also be an ontology or a knowledge graph. |

  * **[[https://torch.ai|Torch.AI]]** (Artem Beer, Jae Cha)
  * The Linux Foundation's **[[https://wiki.lfai.foundation/display/DL/Trusted+AI+Committee|Trusted AI Committee]]**. It covers AI fairness, explainability, and robustness to adversarial attacks. IBM plays an active role in it, and IBM Research created three open source Python libraries for those topics (information received from Svetlana Levitan on 20 Jan 2020).
  * The U.S. Department of  (Defense **[[https://dodcio.defense.gov/About-DoD-CIO/Organization/JAIC/|Joint AI Center]]** (Col. Doug Drakeley).
  * **[[https://www.prostep.org|prostep ivip]]** (Rachel Bauer), which reports having the following focus areas related to AI:
    * Standardization of ETL-processes -- the [[https://www.prostep.org/en/projects/data-preparation-for-data-analytics-dpda/|Data Preparation for Data Analytics]] (DPDA) project
    * Participation in the [[https://ki-marktplatz.com/home-en/|AI Marketplace]] consortium, aimed at creating a marketplace for industrial users and AI-Vendors
    * Identification of most important use cases 
    * Identification of relevant tools, interfaces a.nd standards in product development and production, to ensure data provision for AI applications.
  * **[[https://www.firepoint.info/|Firepoint]],** an R&D consulting organization with a two-year contract to help the U.S. Army's [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Army_Aviation_and_Missile_Center|Aviation and Missile Center]] (AvMC) examine the landscape of AI capabilities that could be leveraged (contacts: Logan Schraeder and Timothy Johnson).
  * **[[https://www.lmco.com|Lockheed Martin]].** Ademola Adejokun has participated in some meetings and intends to collaborate on the AI taxonomy effort.
  * **[[https://www.nist.gov|NIST]].** As of January 2023, NIST is engaged in exploratory discussions with OMG's AI PTF because ov th overlap with an ontology effort related to the Industrial Ontology Foundry (IOF).
  * **[[https://www.cloudsecurityalliance.org|Cloud Security Alliance]]**. OMG maintains a liaison agreement with CSA due to our common interest in cloud guidance and standards, but CSA also has an AI working group.
  * **[[https://www.edmcouncil.org|EDM Council]]**. EDM Council is a member of OMG, and plays a leading role in information semantics and cloud management, but they also have some activities related to AI.
