**Request For Proposal (RFP)** is the requirements document for a new [[ddsf:public:guidebook:06_append:glossary:o:omg]] technology specification. Issuance of an RFP starts the OMG Technology Adoption Process. RFPs are written and recommended by a TF, certified by the [[ddsf:public:guidebook:06_append:glossary:a:archboard]], and issued by vote of the TF's Parent Body.
