A **Private Network** allows only selected entry of verified participants, like those for a private business, one can opt for a private network implementation. A participant can join such a private network only through an authentic and verified invitation, and a [[dido:public:ra:xapend:xapend.a_glossary:v:validation|validation]] is necessary either by the network operator(s) or by a clearly defined set [[dido:public:ra:xapend:xapend.a_glossary:p:protocol|protocol]] implemented by the network.((
