A Staking Node is usually a Lightweight Node (Wallet) and allows for the aggregation of individual stakeholders stakes in proof_of_stake_pos Node Network. The collective of tokens (i.e., coins) has a higher weight ¹⁾ and improves the chances of receiving more rewards for validating a block of transactions. ²⁾

Characteristics of Staking Nodes³⁾

Ease of setup (basically a Lightweight Node (Wallet))
No initial startup costs
No payout delay
No penalty for being off-line
No minimum balance
No guarantee of returns
Usually smaller returns that a 4_master
