2.1 Activities

Return to Existing System

The following are a list of the activities associated with the Identityworkflow:

  1. Nancy is a USA citizen and plans a month-long European vacation with 4 major legs all within the Schengen Agreement1):
    1. A river cruise along the Rhine River visiting some major cities, villages, and historic sites
    2. A Paris getaway with cultural, shopping, eating, and clubbing activities
    3. A mountain resort adventure with hiking, skydiving, paddleboarding, water skiing, and kayaking
    4. A casino experience with shows, clubbing, and gambling
  2. Nancy does all the bookings in advance for:
    1. Airplane
    2. Cruise ships
    3. Trains
    4. Hotel In Paris
      1. Museum visits
      2. Historical Sights
      3. Restaurants
      4. Discotheque
    5. Resort with some activities such as a
      1. Hiking
      2. Sky Diving
      3. Paddle Boarding
      4. Water Skiing
      5. Kayaking
    6. Casino
      1. Discotheque
      2. Cabaret shows
    7. Long Term Parking
  3. Nancy leaves home using her own car and parks in long-term parking
  4. She goes through airport security showing her airplane ticket and passport
  5. She boards the plane showing her passport and ticket again
  6. She arrives at the major City and claims her bags
  7. She shows her passport at border control
  8. She goes through customs
  9. She takes a taxi to the cruise ship
    1. Goes to the Ticket Counter
    2. Goes through a passport check
    3. Goes through security
  10. She spends the next few days visiting:
    1. Cities
    2. Villages
    3. Cultural and heritage sights
    4. Each time she leaves the ship, her passport is checked
  11. As she leaves the cruise ship, she shows her passport again and claims her luggage
  12. When the cruise is over, she shows her passport again
  13. She claims her luggage
  14. Takes a Taxi to the Inter-City train station
  15. She checks in at the ticket counter
  16. Her baggage is checked
  17. She boards the train to Paris
  18. While in Paris,
    1. She uses ground transportation
      1. Metro
      2. Busses
      3. Taxis
      4. Hire Bikes
      5. Does a lot of walking
    2. She goes to:
      1. Museums
      2. Galeries
      3. Historic Sites
      4. Restaurants
      5. Bistros
      6. Cafes
      7. Discotheque
      8. Shops
    3. When she leaves, she walks to a train station to go to the Resort
    4. To get to the resort from the train, she takes a taxi to the Resort
    5. At the resort, she checks in, then goes:
      1. Hiking
      2. Ski Diving
      3. Paddle Boarding
      4. Water Skiing
      5. Cancels Kayaking
      6. She checks out
    6. She walks to the Train Station and buys a ticket to the Casino
    7. She takes the train to the Casino
    8. She Walks to the Casino
    9. She Checks into the Casino
      1. She goes to the Cabaret show
      2. She Cancels the Discotheque
      3. She Plays some slot machines
      4. She skips poker
    10. She checks out of the Casino
    11. She Takes a Taxi to the airport
    12. She goes through Security
    13. She Checks her bags
    14. She shows her ticket and passport to get into the plane
    15. She Flies Home and
      1. Buys some Dutyfree on the plane
      2. Buys some Food on the plane
    16. She arrives at her local airport
    17. She goes through Border Control (passports)
    18. She gets her bags
    19. She goes through customes
    20. She arrives at the long term parking lot
    21. She picks up her car and drives hom

Schengen Agreement, allows passport-free travel between these 26 countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. There are three islands that are also part of the Schengen Zone, even though their borders are outside of the continent: The Azores, Madeira, and the Canary Islands.
