Permissioned Networks
Permissioned blockchains allow a mixed bag between the public_blockchain_network and private_blockchain_network with lots of customization options. The available options include allowing anyone to join the permissioned network after suitable verification of their identity, and allocation of select and designated permissions to perform only certain activities on the network. 1)
