Meeting #11 of the NAFEMS-INCOSE Systems Modeling & Simulation Working Group (SMSWG) was held December 15, 2015 from 11:30-1:30 EDT as an online meeting.

Following is a summary of this meeting:

Frank Popielas reviewed the agenda and review of recent and upcoming activities of the SMSWG. The first drafts of Terms & Definitions and the “What is SMS?” Flyer have been published to the Files section of the SMSWG Collaborative Community.

The SMSWG will have a face-to-face members meeting the morning of Monday, Feb. 1 at the INCOSE International Workshop. Webex connection details will be emailed to all current members, for those not able to attend in person.

The rest of the meeting was dedicated to a presentation by Prof. Ahmed Noor, Old Dominion University, on the “Potential of Cognitive Computing for Engineering Analysis and Design.“
