Meeting #19 of the NAFEMS-INCOSE Systems Modeling & Simulation Working Group (SMSWG) was held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 11:30-12:30 EDT as an online meeting. Following is a summary of this meeting including links to presentation slides.
Discussion Panel on OSLC for Systems Modeling and Simulation
Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC), and related specifications for Linked Data from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), are among the standards being proposed for an interoperable digital thread across Systems Modeling and Simulation tools, processes, and data. The May 2017 meeting of the SMSWG featured a panel-format discussion to give a basic perspective on OSLC and to raise issues and topics raised by its potential application to systems modeling and simulation.
|IW 2017 OSLC Core 3.0 Overview||Bill Chown (Mentor Graphics)|
|Linked Data and RDF Vocabularies||Roger Burkhart (John Deere)|
|Common Misconceptions of OSLC||Axel Reichwein (Koneksys)|
|OSLC Adapter for the Functional Mockup Interface||Hubertus Tummescheit (Modelon)|
|Role of OSLC in future ISO standard for MoSSEC||Adrian Murton (Airbus)|
