Meeting #19 of the NAFEMS-INCOSE Systems Modeling & Simulation Working Group (SMSWG) was held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 11:30-12:30 EDT as an online meeting. Following is a summary of this meeting including links to presentation slides.
Discussion Panel on OSLC for Systems Modeling and Simulation
Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC), and related specifications for Linked Data from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), are among the standards being proposed for an interoperable digital thread across Systems Modeling and Simulation tools, processes, and data. The May 2017 meeting of the SMSWG featured a panel-format discussion to give a basic perspective on OSLC and to raise issues and topics raised by its potential application to systems modeling and simulation.
