Workshop Objectives and Agenda. The Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Workshop will be held on Saturday and Sunday, January 25-26, 2014 as part of the INCOSE International Workshop in Los Angeles, California. This 2 day workshop provides an opportunity to learn about the latest MBSE activities and applications, and to network with others involved in MBSE.
The theme is 'Infusing MBSE across Domains', where we look at how MBSE in being applied in different industry sectors, and how MBSE is being infused across organizations, government, and academia. The Workshop includes a combination of presentations and facilitated break-out sessions. The presentations address approaches, progress, and challenges associated with infusing MBSE across industry, government, and academia. The breakout sessions provide an opportunity to discuss these approaches and challenges, and help identify future directions for the INCOSE MBSE Initiative and the larger MBSE community. The agenda for Saturday and Sunday is included below. Other MBSE activity teams, challenge teams and related working groups will have an opportunity to meet following the MBSE Workshop on January 27-28 (Monday and Tuesday).
MBSE continues to be a major trend towards the advancement of the practice of systems engineering. Additional information on MBSE can be found at the MBSE Wiki. Information and presentations from the 2013 MBSE Workshop can be found at INCOSE International Workshop 2013 MBSE Workshop.
We look forward to your participation and contribution to this event.
